Mero is a meal planner, not medical care. It doesn’t know about your medication. Follow your prescriber.

Mero first-week screen: 28 meals ready, Monday’s meals around a PM training session, and daily averages for calories and macros.

Eating less is the easy part now. Eating right is the hard part.

Small appetite, same training week. You skip breakfast, pick at lunch, and by dinner you’ve had coffee and half a protein bar. You don’t need more willpower. You need the few meals you do eat to already be decided.

Mero first-week screen with the day’s meals and daily averages for calories and macros.

Fewer meals. Every one planned.

Pick which meals and snacks Mero plans. Go as low as three a day, with two main meals. Mero sizes each one to the day’s targets, so a small plate is still a planned plate.

Your training decides the day.

Hard sessions, easy days and rest days get different food. Your meals and your training sit on one timeline, so you know what to eat and when.

Mero Today screen: meals and a hard PM session in time order.
Mero Shop screen: a grocery list grouped by store section, with package amounts.

One shop. No guessing in the aisle.

One grocery list for the week, sorted by store section, with quantities and package counts. No combining recipes. No second trip.

Low-energy days still get a plan.

Set each meal to cook fresh or prep ahead, or use packaged options. Kitchen Mode walks you through the prep one step at a time.

Mero Kitchen Mode: one prep step at a time in big type.
Mero weight check-in screen: a weekly weigh-in with the trend used for next week’s review.

Next week follows your progress.

Check off what you eat and weigh in. Your meal check-offs and weight trend help Mero set next week. The week you’re in stays put.

What Mero won’t do.

You’re on a prescription. You deserve a straight answer about where a meal planner stops.

  • It won’t track your dose.Mero doesn’t ask about medication and doesn’t change your plan when your dose changes.
  • It won’t manage side effects. If food is a struggle, that’s a conversation for your prescriber, not an app.
  • It won’t plan below a floor.Never under 1,200 calories a day, or 1,500 for men, and the gap below maintenance is capped.
  • It won’t replace your care team.Mero isn’t a doctor or a registered dietitian. If they give you numbers, theirs win.

Questions about Mero on a GLP-1.

Does Mero know I’m on a GLP-1?

No. Mero doesn’t ask about medication and doesn’t change anything when your dose changes. It sets your targets from your profile, your goal and your training week, the same way it does for everyone.

What if the plan is more food than I can eat?

Cut the meals and snacks Mero plans, down to three a day with two main meals. Check off what you eat. If you regularly can’t reach your targets, take that to your prescriber or a registered dietitian.

How does Mero set my protein?

From your body weight, as part of your daily targets. If your care team has given you a protein number, follow theirs.

Will Mero plan below a safe calorie level?

Mero won’t plan below 1,200 calories a day, or 1,500 for men, and it limits how far below maintenance your target can go. These are planning limits, not medical advice.

Do I have to be training?

Mero is built for people who train. You set your week at setup: hard days, easy days and rest days. Each day type gets different food.

Is this medical advice?

No. Mero is a meal planner. It isn’t medical care and it doesn’t replace your prescriber, your doctor or a registered dietitian.

I’m vegetarian or have allergies. Will this work for me?

Allergies, yes. Mero plans around every allergy you select. Vegetarian, not yet. Every week is omnivore. Always check ingredients before eating.

Matt McCabe running on a trail.

Knowing my targets was the easy step. The hard part was living them week to week. I built Mero to do that part.
